Mark has been a member of Gwent LDC since 1985. He has been Chairman since April 2009 and is due to step down as soon as a new Chairman has been elected. He has filled several roles over previous years including organising the Private Out of Hours Rota, representing the LDC on the Welsh GDPC, MCN (Ortho) and WDC. He was also Dental Adviser to Gwent Health Authority from 1993 to 2003.

Mark qualified from the University of London with BDS in 1978 and gained an MSc in Implant Dentistry from the University of Warwick in 2006. Mark works mainly at Kensington Court Clinic in Newport and his works includes treating patients under sedation and general anaesthesia. He has a special interest in dental implants.
